The Natural Place to get away from it all

We currently have Holly Bank on the market, but expect to be running the campsite as usual during 2008.

View of the campsite

At Holly Bank you will find a compact site situated on the old lawn of a large Victorian house.
There is a a hard standing pitch if required. Facilities on site include the standard fresh water and chemical disposal points. We have a block with toilets, shower and a washing up point.
Electric hook up is included in the price of the pitch. We give a discount for campers not requiring the use of mains electricty.

The site is beside a community woodland with plenty of room to exercise dogs or just take a relaxing stroll. Visitors that stray into the garden from the woods include a wide variety of birds and the occasional hedgehog, deer or red squirrel.

One visitor to the site that has been nearly eliminated is the notorious Scottish midge. We now run a midge machine throughout the season so that you can enjoy the long summer evenings on the site.

The Local Council have kindly built a leisure centre about 200 metres from the site. The centre has a 25-metre pool, a sauna, games courts and gymnasium. During the Scottish School holidays the facilities are open for public use all day. During term time they can be used each morning and most evenings.

A down hill walk from the site of less than five minutes will bring guests into the centre of the small town of Newton Stewart which provides a variety of shops and eating places.
